Hey everyone!! HEY!! I'm gonna post on here. It's been forever since anyone has. Ok sweet. My life has been crazy busy. My band has now played 4 shows including lastnight. Our very last show will be this friday at 8 PM. LAstnight we played for the stake closing social. We did pretty good. We wrote a couple originals that are hilarious. One is called RIOT and it's about sticking it to the man and rebelling against corrupt governments. Needless to say our humor fell on ignorant ears. We all had fun playin it though. Anyways. I can't wait to come to provo next week! I will post pictures and stuff of the band. PEACE!

The Birth of Lucius!
Doesn't she look good? I think she should do this full time. Tonight, for the first time, Maren and I experienced first-hand the beauty of creation. He didn't look like much when we brought him home for the first time, but after mashing and scraping and stabbing, we are proud to present the very first of our offspring: Lucius (Aramaic for "blessed above all squash of the field).
We got a little bit angry sometimes. Maren did most of the work, though. I just tried to intimidate the pumpkin so it wouldn't give Maren any trouble. Here's our very scary sentinel who watches unceasingly throughout the night!

Poop for Peace
So, after doing some misguided research (and a scintillating chat with Joe), I found this important information. We've missed the celebration this year, but just a few more months before we can make an impact...maybe Danny and Joe most of all. The following is an excerpt from http://www.poopreport.com/Peace/intro2008.html
The east hates the west. The Christians hate the Muslims. The liberals hate the conservatives. The Sunnis hate the Shiites. All across the globe, the chasm dividing humanity is ever deeper. In all the world's wars against terror, the distinction of who is perpetrating which depends on what side you ask -- so divided are we as a species that we can't even agree why we're killing each other.
For there to be peace, there must be understanding. For there to be understanding, there must be a common ground. But the further the chasm deepens, the more fundamental to basic human nature the common ground has to be.
And so April 18 is Poop For Peace Day.

Ghost Hunting, Part II
The newest installment in our ghostly adventures turned out to be a little scarier than first anticipated. We went to Rock Canyon in Provo, where there are supposed to be ghosts of rock climbers who died on the cliffs. We weren't expecting too much, and the constant rain of this weekend dug away at our patience, but as we were walking to the cliffs of death, a man with no face suddenly appeared beside our group and walked quickly past us. He was alone, dressed in a t-shirt, shorts, and rock climbing shoes. He didn't make a sound as he walked, and he was underdressed for the cold rain. Definitely a ghost.
